DocuLife?

Baldaŭ en Esperanto!

An evolving experiment with film and editing being used an an archival method for the evolving experiment that is my life.

Updated every day. Filmed, edited, produced same day, every day. All used footage aquired day of episode.

Every episode is unique.

DocuLife was birthed February 14, 2007; it was conceived before that date, however.

The concept of a digital archive of my life hit sometime around late 2005. There were three obstacles in my path in 2005:

A.) I had no camera for the purpose.

B.) The idea of carrying around such a camera seemed particularly akward at the time.

C.) In a day before YouTube & Blip.tv, I lacked the theoretically infinite hardrive space the project could consume.

What's more, I didn't know a lick of guitar, which would have made a few episodes much more boring (See E7, or E18 for example).

The concept is beautifully simple: express life every day through film and music (and, occasionally, text- also see E7, or E17).

That is DocuLife; this is my life.

-- Video uploaded for every day, typicaly a few hours after midnight of the day documented. Video & Picture recorded with a DV5900. Music is my work unless otherwise noted. All material (audio & video) fully copyrighted, unless explicit credit is given to any other artist.
